It's been a while. Although a lot has happened over the past month, there's really nothing ground breaking to talk about. I'm desperately behind on my attempts at writing reviews for our breakfast outings, but I feel like it's somehow inappropriate to write two reviews back-to-back. So that will have to wait for a little bit. I'm running an interesting experiment at the moment. I live dangerously close to the campus of The Ohio State University; Close enough that it's at least a minor inconvenience every time they have a home game. It's a bit of a hike, but fans heading out to the game will occasionally park on our street, leave their trash behind, and shout out the annoyingly cliché "O-H" with the expectation of a reciprocated "I-O." On my way home this afternoon, I found along with the usual Natty Light cans a stack of football tickets. If you're a football fan, you know that's a good find. If you're an OSU football fan, you know that's an incredible find. Unfortunately, I have less than zero interest in football. Or at the British call it, rugby. My first thought was to scalp them. I can plainly see their face value, but I don't know how much a desperate fan might be willing to give me for them -- perhaps they could even finance my next tank of gas. But then my conscience got the better of me, and I decided to at least post them on the Lost and Found section of my local Craigslist site. I'm extremely interested to see the mix of responses I get; I'm anticipating a 50/50 mix of people offering to buy them from me and people trying to convince me that they are their tickets and I have to give them back, even though they don't remember exactly which game they are for. Be sure to check back, I'll be sure to let you know how many people try to pull a fast one on me. And if anyone succeeds.
